These rents have experienced little fluctuation from the survey period of December 2008 to April 2009.
These rents compare favorably with national averages, which place a studio apartment’s rent at $935; a one bedroom, $881; a two bedroom, $1,151; and a three bedroom, $1,359. Average rent for the state of Kansas for a two bedroom apartment is pegged at $726.
The above statistics make Wichita not just one of the most affordable, but also one of the most desirable, places to live and rent an apartment.
